This is another opportunity for Gilas Pilipinas to gauge their strength as a team before they get into the real hard court action with some of the strongest and biggest international basketball teams to compete in the FIBA OQT.

After a series of tune up games and after revealing the final 12 to represent the country in the FIBA OQT, the country's very own Gilas Pilipinas is joining the other qualified countries in the quest for Olympic honors, to be played in two other venues – Turin (Italy) and Belgrade (Serbia). The whole world will be watching and the Philippines will be in the spotlight come July 5-10, 2016 for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament live at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Playing in Manila are teams France, Canada, Senegal, New Zealand and Turkey.
