It only took one note from John Paul Gumandoy, a nine-year-old from Cebu, to convince Broadway star and "The Voice Kids" coach Lea Salonga to turn her chair for him during the first blind auditions episode of the show's third season.
And then you got better and better."
Bamboo: "Iyong delivery mo was something very special. Alam ko it sounded like a child pero the way you attached the song was very different. I liked it, especially iyong ending mo na napaka-confident. Pag ganoon ka kumanta, I forget about notes eh. That's how you should sing."
"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Kim Chiu, airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
