ABS-CBN is the only media and entertainment company in the country that made it on the list of the top companies in the Philippines that Filipinos dream to work for based on the results of JobStreet’s Top Companies Report for 2016.
This is the third consecutive time that ABS-CBN is part of the top companies Filipino jobseekers aspire to be part of based on JobStreet’s annual Top Companies Report that started in 2014.
According to the JobStreet survey, employees love ABS-CBN for its Company Reputation, Training and Development, and Perks and Benefits. Employee respondents also said that “true to what the company calls the millions of customers who watch our programs, we who work here in ABS-CBN also feel that the Kapamilya spirit is very much alive.”
The 2016 survey, which ran from May to July 2016, was participated in by 14,062 JobStreet.com members representing a mix of employees who hold different position levels. It was also revealed that Basic Salary is the top factor Filipino jobseekers look for in companies they apply to. Other factors include Perks and Benefits, Training and Development Programs, Promotions and Career Development, and Company Reputation.
ABS-CBN vice president for corporate recruitment Arlyn Fausto and ABS-CBN recruitment marketing sourcing manager Kristine Nanagas accepted the JobStreet Top Companies Report 2016 award.
