There is no stopping Pokemon Go. 

Since it was made available to the Filipino online gamers on August 7, its popularity is undeniably the one getting both commoners, students, young professionals and celebrities hook to their smartphones these days.

Local TV shows even allotted part of their airtime featuring the latest craze, with its hosts and guests talking about Pokemon characters' influence to their childhood that made their curious about the game.

Just recently, competing magazine shows “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” and “Rated K” of the rival TV networks GMA-7 and ABS-CBN produced a special segment featuring the online game but both failed to impressed the audience and even received flak on social media for what netizens called "pretentious attempt to look like they are infected by the Pokemon Go craze".
