ABS-CBN’s hit legal drama “Ipaglaban Mo” tackles the case of a house help who was murdered by her own employers this Saturday (August 13).
Suzette (Nikki Valdez) and Sheryl (Miles Ocampo) are sisters who dreamt of uplifting their family from poverty. In order for them to finish their studies, the two looked for work and found employment as house help for a wealthy family.
At first, the sisters believed that their employers Veronica (Ara Mina) and Vicky (Antoinette Taus) were kind people but later on learned that they are cruel and brutal.
One day, Sheryl complained to Suzette that she can no longer tolerate how they were being treated. A few days after, Suzette did not hear from her sister anymore as she suddenly disappeared.
What happened to Sheryl? How will Suzette react once she finds out that her sister already dead? How can justice be served for the poor young woman?
“Ipaglaban Mo” is currently celebrating its second year on air. Since the show premiered on ABS-CBN in 2014, the show has been consistently captivating viewers in its timeslot because of its timely and relevant stories that not only showcase good values, but also informs viewers of their rights.
