Black Eyed Peas member Fil-am Apl.De.Ap and The Voice Philippine coach brings pinoy jeepney to the streets of New York City. Last June 5, 2016 as a part of Philippine Independence Day celebrations
in New York brought a Sarao made jeepney. The blue and yellow jeepney was paraded to showcase Filipino culture in line with the Department of Tourism's "It's More Fun in the Philippines" campaign.
Apl.de.Ap was handpicked by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) of the Department of Tourism (DOT) to promote tourism for the Philippines.
During the parade, Apl.de.Ap dressed a barong with Pinoy-inspired bling. He also performed in the said event. Mabuhay!
