GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar, one of the producers of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza's romantic movie "Imagine You and Me," talks about how the movie surpassed their expectations. The movie is co-produced by APT Entertainment and M-Zet Productions.
"We are so overwhelmed by the support and love for Alden and Maine that have been shown through the over-pouring support for Imagine You and Me. The support the movie has been getting has surpassed our expectations and for that we are truly grateful. The positive word of mouth that has been generated for the movie has been phenomenal too. The film opened with a whopping P21.5 million on its first day making it this year's highest-grossing Filipino film on its opening day. However, when asked about the film's box-office gross after five days in theaters, the lady executive said, "APT would rather not disclose kasi the figures".
"Imagine You and Me," the first featured film of the phenomenal ALDUB loveteam, was shot at the City of Como in Lombardy, Italy and featured a strong supporting cast including Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Irma Adlawan, Yayo Aguila, William Martinez, Luis Alandy, Elijah Alejo, Cacai Bautista, and Cai Cortez.
The film is still showing in 230 theaters nationwide. It is also scheduled to have international screenings in Milan and Rome, Italy; London, England; New Zealand; Los Angeles and San Francisco, California; Nevada, Texas; and Chicago, Illinois; Australia; Canada; Hong Kong; Guam, and the United Arab Emirates.
